1. From the Start menu, click Settings, and choose Dial-Up
Networking.
2. Use your right mouse button and click on ChiliTech
then left-click on Properties.

3. Under where it says Telephone number, your local
access number should be listed. The check box next to Use area code and
Dialing Properties should be empty. Beneath Connect using, your modem
should be listed in the drop-down menu.

4. Click the Networking tab at the top. Under Type of
Dial-Up Server, PPP:Internet, Windows 2000/NT, Windows ME should be selected
in the drop-down menu.

Under Advanced options, only Enable software compression should be checked.
If you are having problems with dropped connections, try unchecking this
option.
Under Allowed network protocols, only TCP/IP should be checked. Click
the TCP/IP Settings button in the lower-right corner.
5. Your window should be set like the one below. Click
OK.

6. Back in the ChiliTech window, click on the Security
tab at the top.

7. Enter your dial-up login name and password in the
proper places. The
Domain can be left blank, or enter tm.net, and a check next to Connect
automatically is optional.
All of the check boxes under Advanced security options should be blank.
Click the Scripting tab at the top.

8. The text field under File name should be blank and
a check should be next to Start terminal screen minimized. Click the Multilink
tab at the top.
12. A dot should be next to Do not use additional devices.
Click the Dialing tab at the top.

13. A check should be next to This is the default Internet
connection and Always dial my default connection should have a dot next
to it. The check boxes next to Enable idle disconnect and Disconnect when
connection may not be needed should be blank.
14.Click OK and close out the Dial-up Networking and
Control Panel windows.
