Macintosh OS 8.x and 9.x - Internet Settings 1. Click on the Apple option on the upper left of the screen. Select Control Panel and select Internet
2. Click E-mail tab, here you can set your Default E-mail Applications settings.
3. Click the Web tab. The home and Search pages are set here. You can specify where to place downloaded files and what your Default Web Browser is set to.
4. Click the News tab. Here is where News Server Settings are configured.
4. Click the Advanced tab. There are many miscellaneous settings listed in the Advanced tab that should not be changed by the user in most cases. Select the Firewalls tab, in most cases there should not be any Proxy servers specified.
